  1. Yes, I noticed this from the start with v. 3.5. Spinning beachball off and on every time I use it. 2012 i7 mac mini with 16GB. I've gone back to v. 3.2 for now.
  2. In Ramdisk settings, what does the '(L)' mean after some of the options? Running well on i7 12GB in RamSystem Mode 1 streaming Qobuz Hi Rez via LMS on Kubuntu, Schiit Modi recognized without issue. Thanks for the program.
  3. Looks interesting- Digikey has it in stock. Can it plug directly in to the rpi 3b+ 40 pin header? Compatible with picoreplayer/LMS?
  4. I'm in the USA and am definitely looking forward to the service coming soon... on Spotify Premium, have tried Tidal HiFi, even tried streaming Qobuz from FR. Spotify desktop on Mac and W10 has developed an issue where the stream stops playing and I am ready to move on.
  5. Clarification from Tidal- if the HiFi button is white, it is streaming lossless, if it is streaming lossy it is greyed out it- makes sense. Half the 25 million tracks are lossless.
  6. 30% lossy is bad. Technically anything less than 100% is sketchy if you are not disclosing that fact and I don't see anything on the web site addressing the issue- sketchy by omission I'd say.
  7. OK, thanks for that info. I suggested a 'HiFi' like button- white when track is lossless, greyed out when not, but maybe not in their best interest to do that. It would be nice to know though.
  8. I had an email from Tidal support saying not all the tracks are lossless anyway-what percentage? Good question. I was assuming full lossless on tracks for some reason. It diminishes the value of $20/month for me. (Although I am giving it a few months trial run anyway).
  9. An OS X app that was the equal of the Chrome one which allowed downloading for offline use would keep me around for now, as imperfect as it might be...maybe Qobuz will an option in the US soon.
  10. Ha! Same with me... I sent an email to support saying the OS X desktop app was unusable, and Chrome was better but barely... the next day no drop outs/buffering etc- hmmm... I am wondering if just because it says 'HiFi' stream maybe there is a variable bitrate at work- it sure sounds thin to me vs CD. I am streaming out of MacBook via Audioengine D1 through McIntosh C29/MC2100/Ohm Walsh2's (old school baby!)... I will run out the 7 day trial and sleep on it- not worth the $20 to me.
