  1. That's great! Good to know. Thanks.
  2. Am I right in thinking that if I connect the speakers to my imac directly via USB, I can avoid using the flaky app and all the networking / connectivity issues that have been reported on here? iTunes and Audirvana will do just fine for me. I've been interested in buying these from the day they were announced but have been put off somewhat by the negative reports about the app and poor after sales support from Kef.
  3. UK pricing is £1999 or £1666 net of 20% VAT. That's approx $2100 US before tax which is $100 cheaper. Good ol' Brexit !!
  4. I was expecting more discussion about the Mojo tbh. It's caused quite a stir over at Head-Fi, the thread is over 300 pages already. Anyway, I have one and it is amazing for the price. It's marketed as a portable dac but it is that good, it could quite easily slot into your main home system and rival anything in the sub £1K market.
  5. Something's eating Mr Young as he now won't allow his music to be played on UK radio! Don't play Neil Young or the Doors, BBC tells DJs and programme makers | Music | The Guardian
  6. Graham Slee Majestic dac is probably one of the most analog sounding dacs in the world but his products rarely get discussed on here.
  7. 24 bit files only contain 20 bits of sound information. That's what they say over at Graham Slee forum anyway.
  8. That's great. I have had a pair of Audience 50's for about 15 years and really like the Dynaudio sound.
  9. Will the Xeo 4 sit on a desk for near field use or are they 'too powerful'?
  10. I think you will struggle to find anything anywhere near as good for £400! Don't be put off by the numbers. This is a seriously good DAC. It comes with a 'Y' adapter for line out use.
  11. Anyone have any info on this? I already have the SACD which sounds great. I'm suspicious that this may just be another up sampled offering..
  12. Does it have dual voltage like a lot of kit does these days? A 110/230 switch so I could import it to the UK myself.
