Just completed work with Jesus at Sonore to run DSD into my newly acquired Meitner MA-1. Sonore upgraded my server from AES16 output to SOtM USB then conducted programming changes for DSD support for DoP V1. Jesus was kind enough to rip my SACDs. The sound is absolutely some of the best digital I have ever heard. Incredibly smooth and ambient. Has a natural quality that I do not even gain from high resolution downloads. Analog is still my reference and this bridges the gap - considerably. Absolutely something to investigate if you are investigating state-of-the-art playback. This was one reason I wanted to give the Meitner a try after using the Weiss DAC202. Rest of the system:
