my current setup consists of
- a Lenovo Thinkpad &
- a pair of Bose Companion 2 series 2 pc-speakers (which, for €100, don't sound too bad)
but I will be buying other sound equipment, and most likely also a Dac (never heard of such machines 'til about two months ago, I've been told they improve the sound so I want one)
Some speakers I am considering are
- the B&W MM-1's which have DAC built in,
- the Focal CMS 50's, or
- the Dynaudio MC15's;
I need relatively small speakers because I already have a slight tinnitus and I don't want to make that worse.
