    It seems that for an extra 100 bucks, BiFrost may be the best move for a sub 400 DAC.

    Hey thanks for the help. I am looking to buy my first DAC. Narrowed it down to the XDA-1 and Bifrost. I have the same questions- what is better? If i am using a mac mini w usb2, I can not exceed 48? TY again
