I bought this album from HD Tracks Saturday. Loved it. It is probably my favorite of hers.

Try a program called Burn for OS X. That's what I use. Although for some odd reason with 10.12 it's had problems reading in FLAC so I convert with XLD to wav and then it works fine. No need to format use toast or anything. It does it all.

I noticed this week Space Oddity was released on HD tracks. So apparently all the albums in the collection will now get releases as single albums. I resisted the temptation to buy the whole set. Now that they are coming out singly, I'll probably spring for Hunky Dory when that comes out and see what I think before splurging for others. I'd probably only buy Hunky Dory, Ziggy and Aladdin Sane, possibly Pinups

The first six albums from Bowie, Space Oddity, The Man who Sold the World, Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, and Pinups are now available as a box set in 192/24 or 96/24. I may spring for the 96/24 versions.

As noted in my first post there are some real classics that are only available in 44/16. I think the vote is a great idea.

Pono has a new feature for voting for a higher resolution upgrade. I voted for Traffic Low Spark of High Heeled Boys and Steely Dan Aja. Aja already had about 27 votes, Low Spark just 4. Who'd you vote for?

HD Tracks for the artist cut is 22.98? WTF for 44.1? Pono has the artist cut 44.1/24 as well for 16.98. I'll go with Pono.

Noticed this up on HD tracks as new this week. Only offered in 48/24 which is disappointing. Also charging 22.98 for it. Seems steep. I'll pass I think.

I bought the one from George's site back a few years ago. I like it a lot. Is it flat? Don't know. I never bothered to compare it to the 80's version of the CD.

Yea, she has had trouble recuperating from pneumonia. Tour has also been pushed into 2015. Wishing for a speedy and full recovery!

I'm looking forward to it, but will wait till it is out and some reviews are posted. I wasn't enamored with her latest Glad Rag Doll.

This is one of the definitive conductors in performing the 9th. Its a hybrid SACD, recorded in mono, from a performance in 1954. Available at amazon.

About 30 SACDs, then about 20 albums at 96/24. Don't know how much disc space. I generally burn the 96/24 downloads to DVD-Audio.

I bought the mo-fi release. It's quite good. I bought smash twice! I bought the 96/24 download and then the cd when I saw her at the green mill in Chicago. She was selling CDs and autographing them during breaks.

I have the original cd prior to loudness wars, I'll just stick to that.
