  1. select add to cart, then click buy with google. you get the full address info and phone number
  2. You could try calling Ray. He will get back to you. The PK100 is worth the wait, and effort. I have ordered two PK100's on the website with the linear power supply. One is digital out to a DAC, and the other analog out to a integrated amplifier. Both give excellent sound and functionality.
  3. sadly the masses are happy with the thin sounding 128 Kbs MP3's they prirated on the net or from friends they are listening with ear buds anyway; so it does not matter the music is missing all the detail, some instruments, voices, etc. Audiophiles have always been a minority >>>>> Support the companies that are offering 24bit downloads (HDtracks, 2L, etc.. <<<<<< I think the 24bit mastered music sounds better and is work supporting. That will help our situation.
  4. I would agree. I find that AIFF or WAV sounds better than FLAC on my music server. I do no use WAV as metadata is poorly supported. I use AIFF format for the metadata support. I can convert a FLAC file back to uncompressed AIFF and it will sound better that the FLAC. you mileage may vary ...
  5. I have two Auraliti PK100 music servers. Once connected digital out and the other analog out. They have been excellent for sound quality and usability PK100 - digital out Auraliti PK100 file player with the optional linear power supply -- direct connected USB HD with music in AIFF format -- MPOD on a Ipod Touch as the remote control -- MPAD on an Ipad as another remote control -- 75 ohm BNC out to the W4S DAC2 Store this gives a good overview Computer Audiophile - Auraliti PK100 File Player Review Reviews & FAQ Auraliti PK100 Music Server

  7. I am very happy with the current main stereo system. I made the switch to digital inputs and a DAC. I feel this is a no-compromise system. The sound is so good I find myself listening to more music. The convenience of a music server is awesome given the sound is no compromise. This setup is providing excellent sound ... 8. I would suggest AIFF format over WAV. The audio track is the same uncompressed audio in either format. But AIFF supports Metadata (artist, album, song, year, genre, etc.). WAV format does not have support for Metadata. WAV can be unreliable with Metadata when used with Itunes, or a music server.
  9. the linear power supply on the Auraliti PK100 is easy to plug in and forget about it. sound quality is impressive. plug it in and your are done sound quality is reason enough for me :>)
  10. I am using the Auraliti PK100 and linear power supply. SPDIF out to a Wyred 4 Sound DAC-2. The combination has very nice sound.
  11. I converted all of my CD's to AIFF as AIFF supports metadata. Uncompressed format with metadata. AIFF has been excellent on my Auraliti PK100 music server. I also convert FLAC to AIFF format and correct the metadata on conversion. I suppose the conversion from FLAC to AIFF is not required. But I perferred the sound of the converted AIFF file (from FLAC) to sound better than the FLAC file. Not big difference but I preferred the AIFF file both on the Mac & on the Auraliti. Hard drive space is cheap so I just convert FLAC or WAV to AIFF. With the Auraliti I can connect external USB drives or connect to a NAS storage. l prefer the simplicity of a single external USB powered drive.
  12. I would suggest a Auraliti PK100 with the Linear Power Supply option. It is a very nice music server.
  13. No issues noted with OSX 10.8 no app issues noted after change The music Player decibel works fine
