  1. I bought amarra because it integrates with iTunes and plays FLAC (yes, i bought the full version). Problem i have is that my large library is all flac and after installing amarra, all i can do play those flac files by importing into amarra only, I have tried to import via iTunes and nothing happens when it sees the FLAC files. This is why i bought amarra in the first place to integrate my FLAC library with the iTunes look and field. Help!
  2. Sorry for the simple question, but I have a mac mini with a monitor connected to my DAC. My question, is it possible for me to control the mac mini's iTunes library via my macbook pro laptop and get rid of the dedicated monitor on my mini? Thanks
  3. Ok, this works great, thanks. The Aiff file is m4a (is this the right extension?) and slightly smaller than the Flack file (about 2%). I just want to make sure I'm not losing anything on my 20K songs! Also, I noticed that even though the metadata carried through when I added to iTunes, iTunes did not pick up the album art. Again...don't really want to manually have to mess around with my 2k covers... Also, what can I use to go the other way around (m4a to FLAC)? I tried using the same program and I got tweeter killer noise (yes, I have killed my tweeters playing in the digital space, ouch!). Thanks!
  4. Thanks folks! I will try it (yes, I have Mac). Funny, I never realized how lame iTunes was not running FLAC natively until tonight!
  5. I have my large CD collection in FLAC, complete with metadata, on a server that I would like to play through AIFF in iTunes. I've looked at Fluke and Max, but my collection is about 2000 CDs...Help!
  6. No, it is an older model without the ability to stream...I am told that what Im asking for does not exist. ..
  7. Hi, need some help. I have a McIntosh MS750 music server with coax and toslink out that I would like to feed through the USB input port of my Oppo95 (actually the server has been upgraded to an esata drive, but I think that would be more complicated). How can I do this? I looked for a toslink to USB adapter but I did not find any (only the other way around, usb to toslink). Is there a way I can feed coax digital into USB? I only need 2 channel redbook PCM. Thanks!
