Looking for my first dac, and would appreciate any advice or comparisons of these. They are both in my price range and generally have positive reviews. I'm a newb here, so feel free to point out the obvious. I've been reading many of the posts and feel like there is a lot of knowledge here that I'd like to draw from. Unfortunately I don't have a good dealer nearby so demos are not an option. Thanks

Hi All, I've recently woken up and realized I need to upgrade my system a bit. I'm hoping some of you can hand out some advice...here's my situation: I have a pair of B&W DM 302's that are about 10 years old (in pretty good shape, but not perfect), a Denon reciever and a Sony SACD player that is almost never used anymore. Basically that is all sitting in my basement waiting for a home theater that isn't going to happen. I also have $1-2000 I could use to get new equipment as necessary, but I'm not looking to spend it all if possible (too many other hobbies to support). I would like a nice system for my home office which is really a living room used as an office. Obviously I will want to connect it to my computer and that will be it's primary input, but I may keep the CD player as well. I prefer to work/study to bluegrass and a little classical, but I listen to a wide variety of music. I'm planning to add a DAC, but beyond that I'm not sure where to go. Should I replace the reciever with separates or an integrated amp? Should I look at new speakers? Or a music server? Basically, where's the most bang for my buck going to be? Thanks.
