Hi Guys
advise please:
I have jriver mc16 on my sony viao, it is wirelessly connected to my home network, and I have just downloaded jremote onto my iphone 4s.
Upon running it I receive a msg " no servers configured. Click the button below..." so as to link it to jriver.
I tap the green button to configure a new server, then the next one and I find the access key in tools/options/media network. Upon entering this key I tap "save and connect....."
Unfortunately it does'nt.
I have received 2 messages:
"access key verified but computer connection failed make sure computer is running and connected to a network"
When I try again I get this msg:
"Connection problem. An internet connection is required when adding new servers, you are currently not connected."
I have also downloaded remote apps for Itunes and my Sony BluRay player which worked straight out of the box. So I am guessing the network connection is fine and that I need to do or check something in in Jriver MC?
I have just realised I bought the app just before I updated to IOS 5.1, would this be where the problem lies?
Any help will be much appreciated.
As an aside I did write to LesPaul about this problem via his website contact address last night but I can see from the correspondence in this topic that he is snowed under at the moment.
