Well went in a different direction.....and spent more picked up a 4month old used Wavelength Proton good price comes with a high end usb cable so no need to worry about upgrading the powers supply etc . Should have a nice sound ,I know a long break in . Hope it works well with the PRaT from my Rega Brio R

Hello All I have a Klipsch IFi system ( two RX-3's and a 8-inch front-firing subwoofer 200W) Feeding them I am using a Asus Xonar Essence ST PCI System sounds great and as much as I am enjoying the system at my desk I want even more My thought process is to keep the sub and volume control and replace the sats (RX-3)for a possible upgrade in sound ? Throwing $500 or so in some new sat's will I gain alot ?
