    Dear Friends, I own a vintage Audio Research DAC1. I would like to know whether it is possible to replace the existing Ultra Analog (18 bit/ 44.1) chip with a 24 bit/96 chip. If this is possible would I have to change any other components in the unit. I would be most grateful for any advice on this. Thank you.
