  1. Joe, I hope I didn't hijack your thread with a discussion of JRiver, which you might not use. Hopefully these solutions will apply to your software. Thank you to Eloise and Bill. I look forward to setting up some zones in my system. Kent
  2. Joe, I read your post with interest because this is something I’ve been dealing with. I use JRiver v18 on a Windows 7 PC, with a DAC and home theater amp. The amp side is easy for changing between sources; I just select which source/input I want to use, either the DAC or HDMI. That is a one button click on the remote. The media server side is the difficult one. First I have to drill into the JRiver settings to select Output Mode Setting under audio to select the correct device. Then close are re-open JRiver. Plus I often seem to need to mess with the Playback Device settings. It always seem much harder than it should be. I wish I could automate the PC & JRiver side. Some expert probably can, but I haven’t figured it out yet. Hopefully you will get someone more knowledgeable than I responding. Kent
  3. That was my experience. I had a question before I bought some of their equipment. Sent several emails. I never got a response. I ended up buying from a different manufacturer. My experience may not be typical, but it is similar.
  4. A bunch of rock but mostly Electronica/New Age music...A Produce, The Orb, Steve Roach, Zero One, etc.
