  1. 3 beers too late. Chiming in just in case! Dear Sonic Studio, Very nice touch. That's how you do it. -Skerzo
  2. This is regarding the original question. "List of asynch dacs with adjustable output voltage" I think the Wyred 4 Sound Dac-2 allows for adjustments in output voltage. From the Wyred 4 Sound Dac-2 User Manual: For lowering the output level with the Max setting, use the following numbers for the proper level: (Make sure min is set to 0 for proper output level) Output type / Output voltage / Volume setting RCA / 2.6V / 70 RCA / 2V / 68 RCA / 1V / 62 XLR / 5.2V / 70 XLR / 4V / 68 XLR / 3V / 65 XLR / 2V / 62 XLR / 1V / 56 I'm in the process of upgrading my rig and I'm struggling with the same dilemma--too much voltage out of my current DAC. I'm looking for more volume range out of my passive pre-amp and I think less voltage output from my DAC might do the trick. I was ready to purchase the Wyred 4 sound Dac-2 but now I worry about loosing resolution in the digital domain (if I reduce the W4S Dac-2 output voltage) Having said that, I've found this thread very enlightening to say the least. Thanks. -Skerzo
