  1. Hi bae22, Maybe your rDac is faulty or maybe not. Have you tested it on Windows? Have you experienced the same issues as on Ubuntu? Now I am have audio server built on Alix1D motherboard and everything is OK but I remember when I was testing VoyageMPD on my IdeaPad u350 laptop I have experienced the same problem you described. The frequency was not stable and below 44100 Hz (for 44,1kHz flac file) and I could hear some glitches (or something but forgive me I do not know how to name it as English is not my native language). I think the problem was USB mouse connected to another USB port or other process which influences on the mpd. Please also check what is IRQ for USB port where your rDac is connected and try to assign higher IRQ in BIOS. Could you write what is result of "lspci -v" and "lsusb" and "cat /proc/interrupts" commands, please? You can also send it to my email: [email protected]. I would like to see also what is your mpd.conf configuration, please. Regards, Jarek
  2. Hi, Could you write what is your "audio_output" configuration in /etc/mpd.conf, please? I have rDAC and my configuration for the alsa_output is following: audio_output { type "alsa" name "Arcam rDAC" device "hw:1,0" } After cat /proc/asound/card1/stream0 command I have: Playback: Status: Running Interface = 1 Altset = 1 URBs = 3 [ 8 8 8 ] Packet Size = 585 Momentary freq = 44100 Hz (0x2c.1998) Feedback Format = 10.14 The momentary freq is always constant. regards.
