Hello I am a friend of Ian , and an admirer of his craft , and scientific approach of HIFI I still own the RENDERER that Ian built I have tried it against the Auralis Aries , Aurender N100 h , Melco N1A , Lumin U1 Well , I sold the Aries Femto And the thing is that this card had one problem : Software was lacking in IOS Now , with BubbleuPNP server , you can set the renderer tp OPENHOME , and thus use the Lumin app to control it With the MelcoN1a , it plays in the same league as the Aurender N100 H .. Not it's a question of budget Soon ,I'll get rid of the Aurender too Cheers

Hello I have been a huge fan of the initial Aries Femto I sold the Aries sometime back awaiting for the G2 From what I read , I am quite dubious about the product Has this changed ? Cheers

Hello My hifi journey has turned to different CAPS , abnd then went for the Auralic Aries Recently I bought the Melco N1A , which runs very very well I was wondering about the interest of a Lumin U1 , as a renderer to serve my DAC instead of the Auralic Aries .. is it worth ? Other alternatives could include an Aurender N100H or the N10 The Lumin U1 is rarely reviewed , so I will need your user or listener experience Cheers

Hello Just to say that I've tried the MF Vlink 192 , in between the CAPSV3 and the Eximus DP 1 .. and the sound is still with cracks , on and off Conclusion : may be the Motherboard is defective Cheers

Hi I came across the website via a friend of mine who built a CAPS version 1.0. He used the Asus Xonar essence ST full width card with a riser in a different case. However the M10 seems too appealing for me, and I was wondering whether the sound card would really fit in the space (assuming that I use a riser card to mount it horizontally) If this case is not the one to use with the Xonar essence , which case would you advise me to use ? Thanks
