I am certain I can at least get to 16 Hz measured in my room.....two paradigm subs, wired for 240v (two separate circuits)

one of the largest threads in the history of this site delves into this burning question.......ahem.....(the question of whether or not one can hear differences between usb cables).....search for it.....it is "enlightening" (some would say hilarious) to say the least.....

There have been three instances in TX of drivers (mostly professional truckers) using a product called 5 Hour Energy .....and reporting (physician confirmed) deafness as a side effect..... ....just wanted audiophiles to know of this, and be careful what you drink on a long driving trip......

I have a new LG from best buy all stainless with something called a "linear compressor"...I don't know what it is, but I can't hear anything at all from it....even when it starts and stops.....complete silence ......

oh jeez.....here we go again....he he he......

.....and that I can still hear a difference..... ...if I can, I will be overjoyed....because that will mean that there is a whole lot about computer audio that is yet to be discovered and understood..... ...so far I must report that I cannot hear a difference, but I am going to try it on these aforementioned two tracks!!!!!!!!!!! i'll let you know....

i do on every one I rip....I use purosol optical (search for it) and a new microfiber...works for me.... and really, what can it hurt..???

just got an email from the chesky bros. apologizing for the "tech issues" and refunding my money on BIA.....

i agree, they need to stop doing this kind of thing.....not simply apologizing for it.....

they need to stop doing this.....or make it VERY CLEAR in the notes that this has indeed happened.....

they are refunding everyone's money, and apologizing for the technical issues surrounding this download....

the "new" apple tv released today???? or the "new" apple tv available last week???? there are now "two" available in my apple store, much much confusion.....

you don't mention it above, but you may want to back up your files to an alternate drive, else you may be re-ripping everything again .....

ok ok I have been chastised soundly......my apologies..... it just (had) genuinely occurred to me that if digital cables vary considerably in their ability to convey digits to the dac from the computer, (but are consistently getting better, closer to the theoretical "perfect" ideal)....then there also (it reasons) must be truly terrible cables out there that routinely scramble and "mess up" the data stream...... if a high end usb cable can make cymbals sound more "real" with more "air" around them, then there must be a usb cable out there somewhere that can make frank sinatra's voice consistently and repeatably sound indistinguishably like a contra-bassoon ........ I honestly wonder if anyone out there has heard such a (sinatra butchering) usb cable.....after all, there seem to be hundreds of people that have heard cymbals sound more "real." And yes, I did read every single word of every single post here, you have to understand, some of us are just getting started in this hobby.....ahem....
