  1. I pretty much solved my issues. However, I still have this issue documented here: http://www.pinkfishmedia.net/forum/showthread.php?t=114996&highlight=ODD_LAB If you have the same issue, I'd post to the thread. The more complainers the better the chance we have of getting a fix. Jason
  2. I've found the overall issue. The ARC functionality on my SONY TV is forcing the RCA patch cords on my Yamaha Receiver to not be used for the signal from the DAC. Disabling the ARC option in the Setup menus for the SONY HDTV will cause the correct set of input RCA jacks to be used so signals flow from DAC to Receiver RCA's. Whew...that wasn't fun.
  3. I have/had a very similiar issue. I just happen to stumble into the resolution. I was setting up my new mac mini to use an Audiolab 8200CDQ and its DAC. When my remote WIN 64 system was running ITUNES, no sound would come out of my mac and DAC to my stereo system. After 5 hours of debuging I just happen to go into my other room and stop ITUNES on my WIN machine. Walked back to the other room where mac and dac are located and it began to work. Not sure what's causing the issue. A great deal of my music lives on my WIN box and I was hoping to just share it between mac. So, unless I can figure out what's causing the issue, I'll need to move my music to the mac. Hope this might be something to do with your issue. If not, maybe someone else will find this thread having the same issue.
