You do realize these tunnels are now a built in privacy feature of iOS and macOS and are as simple to use as hitting a toggle button. It’s not something you ban in this day and age unless you eventually want to lose members and new subscribers.

I'd upgrade to the new C1200 preamp from McIntosh and then wait and move up to the next generation Yvette's from WA. I'd also take a look at DAC's and probably try out the top end Holo Audio May. Lastly I would consider upgrading my mono blocks after upgrading the speakers.

Having a well implemented Sabre dac and the Yggy at the same time. IMO, no. I never felt the Yggy did as good a job with my hi-res content as the Sabre. HQPlayer might be a nice option to perform the 24 -> 16 or 24 -> 20 dither for the Yggy. That said, the Yggy with redbook was always better, IMO.

The exception is Roon Core on RoonOS (linux). I believe it’s all .NET Core now.

I would go with near field studio monitors. You will get great stereo imaging and sound quality at volume levels that doesn’t annoy the neighbors. .02
