i happen to enjoy Mordaunt Short's Carnival 2s. quite small, inexpensive and quite nicely fininshed for the low price. good bang/buck imho.

I have just jumped on the Foobar bandwagon and like it for the most part but have one question... Does anyone know how to create an option in Windows (xp or 7) to "add to Foobar playlist" when browsing music files in Windows just as you will have for WMP? I know you can add files from the player but I'm an old dog and would much rather browse and play from my music folders as I've always done. Any help appreciated.

I have subscribed to TAS for years and consider their staff quite reputable. In fact this article inspired me to download CPlay (after learning that JPlay is not free). Sadly, I had no earthly idea what to do with this confusing app and quickly learned that I had a grand total of 1 song that was compatible with the player. ASIO and MP321 also installed but only added to the confusion. Anyway i removed it and went to Foobar. The articles are fascinating to me as I am looking for the best sound quality at best value and best user experience, so i look forward to each installment.
