Thank you Ted for answering... but... I must be blind, I can't find a "remote" setting in the menu, nor in the manual !? @Miska : thanks for your experience with toslink. I'll give a try if I come to connect a streamer to the DAC.

And another question : has anybody tried to use the toslink input? How does it sound? Can it be a serious option and can it compare with FW or SPDIF? Thanks again... B

Hi, I remember someone on this thread talking about switching the remote control of the Stereo 192 on, tu use it with a universal remote controller... I have a RC5 remote control for my CD drive that has buttons for volume (it's a remote control for amps of the same brand also), and I wish I could use it for the Mytek at the same time, but I can't find any remote control button on the Dac or in the menu. So my question is : how do you switch on the remote control mode? And will any RC5 type remote controller work? Thanks to everybody on this thread for sharing all this information! B
