Good morning. A simple question on linking Satellite receivers to audio systems. I would like to get the best sound quality from the digital signal and am looking into connecting an outboard DAC between the units. There exists a digital optical output on the satellite receiver and it would seem logical that the internal DAC could be bypassed through this output. Am i on the right track and could expect pleasing results with an outboard DAC such as DAC.it ?

First post. I am interested in a digital playback unit that would use a memory device such as USB. This would replace the CD player in an Adcom system and would need a composite output. Anything out there? Thanks.
