  1. I've been working on mine 11 years! Getting really close.
  2. Downloaded PM 2.0.3 and fired it up. And it didn't get stuck on waiting for media! This bug has bugged me for months!
  3. +3dB = distorsion. Hard one. Not when your coming in at -7dB, my actual output is about +.5dB.
  4. Good luck! I have 2000+ hours trying to un-compress crappy cd's. The only way I have found is using a software compressor. I bring in the audio at -7dB. Then use threshold to makeup and output +3dB. I takes awile to get the hang of it but does work. My output is actually louder than the original and fuller bodied. My goal was to be able to listen to anything from 1960's to 2014 recordings with little interaction. I can now do this with just 1 knob on the compressor.
  5. I did that! I saw it was 2.02 and I thought there was a newer one. Thanks,
  6. Okay! I think I found it. Somehow the up sampling got turned off. I think it's fixed now. It's on different menu from the dac setup. All fixed. Sorry. Dana
  7. Maybe somebody has an answer to this. Nothing changed overnight but now Pure Music is set to 96khz but switches to 44khz when it starts to play a song. The dac is a NuForce u-dac 2 and 3, It does the same thing on either one. What started this was when I fired up PM today I had no plugins and it told me my trial period was up! So I started checking stuff and looked in the trash and there was a PM.plist. I didn't put it there! I put it back but still no plugins. I re-registered with my code but still no plugins. I rebuilt all my plugins and everything seemed good, BUT, it down samples to 44 even tho the midi settings are 96 and PM is set to 96. Pure Music 2.02, osx Yosemite. I rebooted of course and reset everything but its still screwed up. Hope somebody can help. Will call PM tomorrow. Thanks, Dana
  8. AARRGG!! Been trying to get my password reset! I upgraded to 1.88a on Sat. Was playing some stuff thru my new B&W A7. Then later I put on the headphones! I was shocked. I have 9,000 songs from 1960 - 2012. Mostly 320 and some 256. PM 1.88a absolutely has done something to the pre-signal(?) It has tamed the "Loudness war" type songs. It has made clearer all the old stuff like "Deep Purple", etc. from the early 70's. It tames AC/DC very well too. I can't wait to see what 1.9 will be like. My cans are ATM 50's. Dana
  9. My library used to be like that LOL!! I know there is software out there that'll clean it up but I have never tried it. I just did it the hard way, spent 100's of hours going thru each album, etc. and finding the correct artwork, year, etc. Now my library is 9,000 songs and it is perfect. Well worth the work.
  10. Hello, I'm new here and new to Bit Perfect. I bought Fidelia but I didn't like using playlists, etc. They were nice enough to refund my $70. The problem is I don't output to a DAC and don't want to. I just need to have Bitperfect AND an EQ. I found this article (http://www.dctrwatson.com/2011/06/os-x-system-equalizer/) that uses Soundflower and the standard Built-in Audio that allows you to use the Apple AUGrahicEQ and AU Lab program. I downloaded the large Xcode program and was able to duplicate this. Now I need to setup Bitperfect + AU Lab + iTunes! I'm having trouble getting the in's and out's set correctly. If I can get this going I will be SO Happy as I can use all AU's, etc. Is anybody using this kind of setup? Thanks, Dana
