  1. Thanks for the input... The MBL people are fantastic, and have been helpful, but I actually did´t know, nor asked , if you get 192 through the USB... And honestly, I don't know if it matters at all either.. the 1511F and the rest of the MBL system sounds absolutely fantastic through the Mac and even most 16/44 files sounds better than most other systems I know...not to mention my 24/96 files... I also don't want to have to many "boxes" involved, you know. However, should I choose to utilize this option, I would go through one of the other digital inputs on the DAC????? Correct?? ( because it is the DAC USB input that is limiting??? ) The other inputs does not have the same limits???? Thanks again for great website...
  2. It shows up in The set up, and everywhere its supposed to, BUT always limited to 96!!! So, is The USB On The mbl ( $8000) dac limited to 96khz???? Or is it The Mac ???? Or my set up???? From research On this site, there are comments that you are not limited On The Mac?, so it must be The mbl???? Frustrating, cant figure it out!!!!!
  3. Hello everybody, and thanks for a great website.... My DAC supports 192Khz ( MBL 1511F ) and I have some 192 kHz files, and as others have commented, it does not show up on the Audirvana Plus software, so I have to ask: - Why not???
  4. Just listened to The entire album, and must say it sounds great On my system.. Very articulate and tight. As for The music, Nice change Of pace for Diana , and most songs really swing!! Excellent musicians obviously !!! First impression: excellent!!!!!
  5. I now have it all up and running, with all the bells and whistles!!! It sounds incredible!!!!! Very nice software, indeed!!!
  6. Tune up is assesories to iTunes that " clean " files or add metadata etc.. It shows in the upper right corner on mine, and i just click The off button,, I also make sure everything else is turned off that use cpu. I use The osx " monitor" function to check what uses cpu,,,,,
  7. I have a brand new Mac set up as well, and experience some fan activity once in a while, and after some research i always find that there is some activity running in The background that increase cpu usage that i obviously forgot to switch off. Feks it took me some time to switch off The " tune up" function, and that really caused The cpu and fan to speed up.....
