  1. Thinking of using HQPlayer on my main Windows machine and using a Raspberry Pi as the Network Audio Adapter platform with Linux installed and a USB output to the DAC from the Pi. I'm guessing with a tiny Linux footprint installed maybe on a USB flash drive and the other USB connected to the DAC the 700 MHz should be enough to relay the data coming from the 100mbps interface to the DAC. Thoughts/Suggestions ?
  2. So i've been successfully ripping my SACD collection, up to about 140 discs, but I just encountered a problem with one of my rips for the first time. The disc is Acoustic Triangle (Malcom Creese, John Horler, Tim Garland) "Interactions". The disc has 12 tracks, but SACD-Extract show an extraction for 2 tracks but for the total disc size of 4+ GB. The extraction is split into two ISO files as the size exceeds 4gb, and I do join the files once I have them on the pc (as I've done successfully many times before). Once that is done, I try to extract the DSD files for 2ch, but the application crashes. I try playing the ISO file on Foobar with the SACD plugin (and that works on all other ISO's), but Foobar crashes too. The interesting bit is that Foobar displays the 12 tracks but the only kind of sound that comes out is noise for a few seconds then the app crashes as well. Any insight ??
  3. Hi everyone, first post in the forum. Been reading it for a good year + now, and find it amazingly informative and very helpful. I've delved into the PS3 hack to be able to rip my SACD collection and so far have succeeded in installing SACD_ripper on my PS3 and getting the few ISO's i've ripped to my PC. The problem i'm getting is running SACD_extract to obtain the DIFF files from the ISO. I've downloaded the 0.3.6 WIN32 executable from Mr. Wicked's site (am running Windows 7) and have put the executable and the ISO in the same folder but when I run: sacd_extract -2 "Wes.iso" (my file name is Wes.iso) I get an error message saying: libsacdread: Can't stat /dev/cdrom No such file or directory I've downloaded the pthreads lib though not sure whether that was still needed with the latest version of sacd_extract and I still can't get anywhere past that error above. I'm not sure where that lib needs to go as I tried to follow the instructions provided on the website and I did instll the Visual C++ 2008 just to be safe but to no avail. Any help on this would be great. In the meantime, been playing the ISO's on Foobar and it works flawlessly.
