  1. Reading the review and the forums on this site has me convinced that the Auraliti PK100 sounds good - and would suit me pretty well. However, that still leaves a few geek questions unanswered. If anybody knows the answers, I'd be grateful to hear from you. I live in Europe (Denmark) and the shipping + customs bill is gonna be huge so I need to know exactly what I'm getting if I do part with my cash :-) [*]Distribution? The reviews just say linux but what flavour? I realise that it's not meant to be tampered with but still... I suspect something pretty orthodox a la a custom debian? [*]MPD version? MPD is still under development - what version is included and will (can?) there ever be updates? [*]Streaming? In another thread mostly concerned with audiophile stuff someone mentioned that "it doesn't do streaming audio (at least not without modification)" Any truth to that? I use MPD for a number of streaming radio stations and it works fine - of course only with those that use codecs MPD knows (not wma/asx stuff). [*]NAS support? The reviews said no NAS (not yet). The forums talk of bonjour and NFS servers. So what is the current situation? Given the size of the bill as it is, I'm not particularly interested in buying something custom-built. [*]SSH and tinkering? Since it's a headless setup, SSH (or telnet?) would of course have to be available if you were to tinker. Or just look around :-) Does it support SSH and what are the options for hacking the system? Or just installing a few extra packages or running a teeny tiny cron job or the like? [*]Not-a-geek-question-but-what-the-hey: Is it available somewhere within the EU so I won't have to import it myself?
