I have controlled my PK100 with both MPaD (I don't use MPoD but I assume that its very similar) and a Windows tablet using a client called Ario. My experience was that Ario handled metadata properly while MPaD doesn't, in various ways you describe (though mine has never gotten so bad that I can't use it). So I had thought MPaD the problem. There is certainly a glitch in the metadata handling somewhere and I have not found the answer to it, which is a shame since the Auraliti is otherwise such a fine unit.
(Having lurked here for several months learning about and converting to computer audio after about a dozen years of ignoring the state of the art while listening to an analog system, I finally run across an issue I might actually be able to contribute something to.
