  1. Amarra seems to layer the sound in a more interesting 3D way, while Fidelia is just as clear as Pure Music, and most of the high price programs. Amarra is hundred for the peasant, or entry model, and Fidelia in its basic form is just twenty dollars. The fifty dollar addition to Fidelia I have not tired yet, and if anyone uses it please advise me because I am interested. Otherwise I looking at Amarra peasant edition. Decibel cost more than Fidelia, but it is not as clear, but seems to get better with each update. Audirvana Plus gets amazing detail in it bass, but the high end is muddy. I am listening with Beyer 770, HD 600, and Etymotic 6. Amarra has a hot highend when I listen to it with my Etymotic, but on the other headphones it sound detail and 3D. Fidelia sound all around good. I am trying to figure out if there is some wrong with Audirvana Plus, or my system, but everything else seems fine. I am using an iMac with a nuforce icon udac-2, or a friends old Benchmark DAC1. He has move on to a DAC1 PRC or an HDR. I listen to world music, Celtic, Turkish, North African, Indian, Japanese, some Folk. Also Russian, and Romanian (women) choral music. It is all WAV format form CD I own.
