  1. Hello everyone, Just wanted to get everyone's opinion. I am in the market for dac to pair up with a squeezebox touch. This will in turn be feed into a warpspeed optocoupler, which will act as volume control, and finally into a pair of Quad 12L active speakers. I have a budget of $1000. What do all of you recommend. The twohave been looking at most is the EE minimax plus and the Rega dac. Which one do you think would work better for my setup? Thanks
  2. Hello everyone, I am somewhat new to the entire digital audio realm and need some help. I currently own a pair of Quad 12L Active and have been using the the Squeezebox touch as my transport. I am totally in love with this product but need to put all my music onto a external hard drive because I am running out of space. I pretty much have had much of my music burn directly through iTunes but considering I am going to redo it onto an external hard drive and want to start over. I hear that FLAC is the best format to use with a Squeezebox since it reads it natively. Is this true. If this is the case I want to use XLD and create a database system that makes more sense that iTunes, which places music in odd places. If I do use Xld, under file format what would be the best way to set it up? Thanks for the help.
