I just picked up the Focal Little Bird pack for use as my computer speakers. Any thoughts out there on ways to feed the Bird from the computer?
Right now I have it connected Toslink. My computer does not have coax out. Bird does not have USB in, but in addition to the toslink it has analog in.
I have been tempted to pass computer USB into a budget DAC like the Musical Fidelity V-DAC II, or I just saw that Cambridge is launching the Magic DAC 100 soon. I think that's about my budget for this setup. (On the home theater I have the M1 Clic.)
I rip CDs to lossless wav and buy a fair amount from HD tracks in 24 bit. It's sitting on a 3TB WD NAS drive.
On win 7 I have started to play around with MediaMonkey, and I'm expecting to use it now in place of iTunes.
