  1. I am experiencing also a variety of issues with the Android app (e.g., cover art is shown different album than what is playing, app crashes, etc). It is almost unusable. Works perfectly on the iPad (which I have to share with the rest of family members!). A bit disappointing as a strong deciding factor for changing from another highly reputable streamer/player to Lumin was precisely the native support for both iOS and Android. Using 3rd party apps in Android to control the Lumin kind of defeats a significant part of Lumin's value / user experience...
  2. @wklie any plans on providing access to HRA Streaming service from HIGHRESAUDIO in Lumin products in the near future?
  3. I also agree with this. I consider myself an iFi "early adopter", as I have an iFi Micro iDSD for almost 3 years now, a product that is very easy to understand, which has served me very well. I just got an iPower now but I am not really sure if I should have got an AC purifier or a DC purifier first though (or all of them?). And understanding the differences between an iDefender and an iSilencer is just too much for me without a simple "comparison tool" on their website!
  4. thank you guys for all the help, everything makes more sense now. I will try that tomorrow because now I am back at home! Cheers!
  5. Is there a way to prevent it? I am concerned that it may also be down-sampling 24bit/96KHz to lower resolution files? Thanks!
  6. Hi, I just setup my audio stuff at work, consisting of playing FLAC files from my laptop via USB to a Nuforce Icon HDP feeding a pair of Shure SRH940. I just noticed something unexpected: Even though this Nuforce DAC is supposedely able to play a maximum sample rate of 96KHz files via USB, I have been successfully listening to 24bit/192KHz flac files via USB! Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? I am using JRiver Media Center (on Windows 7 64bit), and my USB cable is a Furutech Formula 2 USB. Is this the software "downsampling" the 192KHz files to a lower sample rate before sending them over to the USB Dac? Any help is very welcome! Best,
