  1. Like I said, this wasn't an issue before I upgraded my speakers and cans, so I doubt the interconnects had any part in solving it. My guess is that my lack of proper power management came and bit me in the ass. Before the Aquarius I just hooked everything up to a standard power strip connected to a single mains outlet. Can't have been particularly beneficial.
  2. After I hooked up my new Supra LoRad power cords, Chord Chorus interconnects and my Isotek Evo 3 Aquarius it all vanished! I am now in audiophile nirvana, and my speakers stands haven't even arrived yet! Problem solved, thanks guys!
  3. The NuForce power supply is modified by Auraliti for use with the PK90. This wasn't an issue for me until I got my Audiovector speakers and Sennheiser cans. I'd rather not invest in expensive HiFi equipment just to find out that 99% of all music ranges from slightly annoying to unlistenable, and may even damage my setup, but it seems that's what I've done. I recently placed an order for Chord interconnects, Supra LoRad power cables, and an Isotek Aquarius Evo 3. I really can't afford buying any more equipment or have anything damaged right now, so frustration is running high. I cannot emphasize enough how much your expertise is appreciated. I doubt the PK90 is to blame, but I will try taking it out of the equation when my new gear arrives. (Unless that takes care of the problem, that is.)
  4. Greetings fellow audiophiles, I'm a long-time lurker who just recently joined because I've got a problem which just has to be addressed. Here is my chain: Auraliti PK90-USB with NuForce Linear PSU -> Audioquest Forest USB -> Musical Fidelity V-DAC MKII -> run-of-the-mill RCA interconnects -> Musical Fidelity M6i -> Chord Rumour 2 Speaker Cables terminated with banana plugs -> Audiovector Si1 Avantgarde Arreté speakers. From the Tape Monitor out on my amp I've hooked up my M1 HPA driving my Sennheiser HD 800's. Now, here's the problem: Depending on the source material, I'm constantly getting different levels of distortion! This distortion ranges from annoying to unlistenable. The HDTracks 24/96 version of 'Fragile' by Yes has mild distortion on some of the tracks, especially the organ and keyboard sounds, but also some guitar. Vinyl rips are now out of the question, as 'A Farewell To Kings' by Rush might have been the worst listening experience of my life through my very revealing headphones. There is enough distortion, clicking and popping almost no matter what I listen to to warrant me fearing for the life of my setup. If any more info is neccessary to troubleshoot my problem, I'll be happy to provide it. I ask you for help, because I know there is much knowledge to be found here. Thank you in advance, Adam
