Thanks for that,it wasn't explained to me that I needed an alternative media player, he said it was a software bug, although I did tell him I was using i-tunes. I was on the verge of selling the HRT and upgrading to the audio lab. Thanks very much i'll try one of your suggestions. Ian

Hello, I have just purchased the HRT Streamer 11 and connected to my mac mini. I downloaded some hi res music but when I played it the light on the unit stayed at the lower sample rate. I contacted HRT and after a few e-mails Kevin explained that there is a bug in the software because I upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard and that to only way to change the sample rate is to do it manually from the audio Midi Setup. I have Naim Quad system so it's not a bad hifi but i don't really hear a great deal of difference in sound quality, has any one else had this problem ?
