  1. I routinely tag my tracks with disc number when they are ripped. It's being lost for many discs in the sync with Audirvana. Also being lost for many CDs is the Artist tag.
  2. I just ripped 5 multidisk CDs using Max. They imported into iTunes without problem and individual tracks are clearly marked correctly, e.g., track 1 of disk 2, track 1 of disk 3, etc., such that the correct order and sequence of the tracks is preserved. When these are synced with Audirvana 2+, the listing for individual tracks has completely disappeared and an individual 'album' shows three track 1, three track 2s, etc. Somehow Audirvana is losing all reference to the individual disks during the syncing process. Curiously, other multitrack sets ripped at earlier times (probably with iTunes) show correct listings and delineation of individual disks.
  3. I'm not sure why people are having problems with this process. I just upgraded my 2011 mac mini from 2 to 8 Gb the other night. It's about a five minute process, from start to finish. It is only slightly harder than RAM upgrades for PCs, largely because the holders don't tilt up quite as far as those for most other computers. The process for how to do this is well described in the mac mini manual and there are videos on the web. My upgrade went smoothly with no problems. Maybe the pencil trick would help, but shouldn't really be necessary.
  4. I recently purchased a 24/96 copy of the Talking Heads album, Talking Heads 77 in October, but only now got around to analyzing it in Audacity. About half the tracks give results similar to that from the song Who Is It presented below. The other half gave results similar to that of Tentative Decisions. I post these examples to illustrate the quality of the files being sold by HD Tracks for this download. Despite being notified of the problem, Customer Service at HD Tracks refuses to recognize any problems with this download.
