  1. Paul, how are these different from exact audio? thanks
  2. Jud, This is the clearest explanation i have heard. For all of us old guys, who are used to just spinning cd's and want to move to high rez downloads, good dacs and still be able to spin a cd, it is utterly confusing. So I want a new dac and cd player, do i get the berkeley that is raved about but what cd player and do I stream or go usb? What should I use to hold downloads? Computer or get Naim ripper? Should DCS be the brand because its upgradeable? What will be able to adapt with technology? It goes on and on!!! Thanks again
  3. I have just upgraded a 20 year old system. So far, got CJ art mono block amps and CJ Et5 preamp. Have old CJ cd player (Dv-2b). Can i use that and get a new dac or should I get a new player with good built in dac? Also want to begin ripping existing cd's and downloading HD tracks to a separate source. Have been looking at Naim, Simaudio, wavelength, DCS debussy, Ayre, and Chord. Almost went with Chord instead of CJ, but always go back to tubes. Does anyone have an opinion? Many thanks
