    Recycle bin

just a number of tracks that were duplicated when I updated to 3.5. Again, I am on a Mac. Used to work fine prior to 3.5

    Recycle bin

Mac. Anybody else have any recommendations?
  3. Two remaining issues with 3.5. 1) Items in the recycle bin sent to trash remain in the bin and are not erased. 2) In most cases, A3.5 plays the first track in a CD and then stops. I need to quit Audirvana and re-start for it to play the whole file. Help will be appreciated.
  4. The recycle bin does not seem to be able to send tracks to Trash.

    Recycle bin

I may be doing something wrong, but the recycle bin choice to send tracks to trash does not seem to work.
  6. Please see y posting yesterday. Does anybody know why the Apple remote (slim aluminum) does not work with A3.5?
  7. The Apple remote (slim aluminum) does not work with 3.5 (it does fine with 3.2.) On 3.5, it opens iTunes. Also, frequently 3.5 only plays the first track of a CD file and then stops. Must quit 3.5 and restart to get it to work.

    Audirvana Plus 2.6

I imagine it is too late to ask but, could there be a way to print playlists, or album lists? Thanks, Jorge
  9. Question for Damien or other expert users: My DSD-DAC manufacturer is about to offer an upgrade for Ethernet input into the DAC. Currently running A+ from a MacMini into said DAC via USB. Anybody knows if A+ will work if I go: MacMini (via Ethernet)->Ethernet Router->Ethernet input in DAC? Thanks for any help.
  10. Got the BDP-80FD to work (kinda) with hybrid SACD/CD. This, however, generally required multiple feedings of the discs to the machine until it saw the SACD layer. In addition, it frequently hung up requiring unplugging and replugging the unit. Pain in the butt. Returned the unit to Amazon. Got an Oppo 103. Big, big difference. It not only worked first time around on my LAN, but I have been able to connect it directly to a Mac Mini using Ethernet without much trouble (or any should I say). Would not recommend the Pioneer. While the Oppo is much more expensive, it works just right.
  11. Just bought a new BDP-80FD. I am having the same problem as Anfield. Most hybrid CD/SACD I insert in the drive are read as "CD". In only a few of the hybrids does the display read "SACD". Moreover, even after hitting STOP twice (as per manual), I cannot toggle between CD, SACD 2CH, and SACD 4CH when a disc is loaded in the player. All single layer SACDs are read (that is according to the display) as "SACD"s. Could you please see if you can reproduce the problem by feeding your machine a number of hybrids. I have been on hold with Pioneer service for about one hour and cannot get them to pick up.
  12. I did not know one can send a private message (an email I imagine). Please let me know if it would be easier to communicate that way and not clutter the forum, if you want. Thanks.
  13. Thanks a lot. One on order. Now, I am a complete and absolute technological ignorant. If you are on a Mac, would you be willing to post a blow by blow description of how you set it up to work. Please include answers to: 1) Do you have to connect the player to a TV to set it up?, 2) Can you connect the player directly to the computer using Ethernet or do you HAVE to go through a LAN? Sorry for the naivete but I just want to make it work right the first time around. Best.
  14. Does not look any anyone answered your question: Can you connect the player to the Mac via ethernet directly without going through the LAN?
