  1. The issue had been reported a few months ago but it still persists in the latest release.
  2. Hi Damien, I noticed Audirana windows has an issue during playing Qobuz streaming. From time to time when it plays towards the end of a track, it pauses for 3 to 5 seconds, sometimes it can proceed to next track. Sometimes it just repeats the same track from the beginning. This problem happened since very early release, I was hoping it will get fixed in the subsequent bug fix releases but it is still there in the latest build (version 1.2.5 build 1043). Could you please have a look. Thank you. Kevin
  3. AD1955 made by Analog Devices is used in several highly respected DACs like Berkeley Reference, Bricasti, etc it has 120db SNR, THD+N vs amplitude plot is the best I have seen, although I am not sure if its measuring condition is the same as other manufacturers. AD1955 is still a highend da for sure
  4. I am not sure if this topic has been covered before but I can’t find any by the search function. I would like to understand the implementation of DoP-to-PCM conversion within Mutec MC3+USB. Specifically, is there any boost gain (typically +6db) applied to the DSD such that PCM output will sound equally loud as CD equivalent version? I understand +6dB gain is usually applied for software based conversion such as the one in Audirvana+. Besides, is there any anti-alias filter applied for the conversion, at what frequency? Is it a linear phase or minimum phase filter?
  5. Since 0404's driver is quite CPU demanding, have you disabled wifi and antivirus software, or any background backup program? Also you may find the following guide useful: http://www.cgoff.fsnet.co.uk/popsclicks/ I don't have 24/176 material, but just tested 24/192 Wav (not AIFF) on Wavelab Lite, MM and XMPlay. All can be auto sampled and played flawlessly. Kevin
  6. There are at least two more playback software you could try: XMPlay and Beatport sync player. Both support ASIO. I remember XMPlay can handle high sampling rate automatically, although other features are not as nice as MM. In XMPlay Output Uncheck Apply sample rate to all file formats Resolution 24bits Inside ASIO Check all three options: Set hw sample rate when possible Use optimal resolution Always use preferred driver buffer size BTW, I presume you have downloaded and installed the latest driver/firmware from EMU website, correct?
  7. There is stop button on MM default skin, just select View->Now Playing. THen you will see there is a stop button at the bottom of now playing window. Cheers, Kevin
