  1. I have never heard music before. Literally that is what hearing music through this enclosure makes me feel like. sounding virtually flat from 20,000hz all the way down to 60hz and rolling off to 30hz with a rich tonality.
  2. I am listening to one of the fostex towers and what a delight it is. It is such a well balenced enclosure. it is very natural sounding down to 45hz and fades gracefully from 60hz. There will be the dayton titanic mkIII to pick up the heavy low bass in certain songs and movies.
  3. i am still waiting on the weather to improve so i can do some wood working.... Every time i have time to do it it is rain/snowing but when its beautiful in the 40s and dry i am at work.
  4. When I get a bifrost im taking it to a shop near me and try to demo a dac it for a head to head comparison
  5. What is the general consensus on Beats audio products? I've seen it as over priced and nothing more than average equipment. I see people with headphones and earbuds but beats and I laugh inside on the price they payed for it. Id rather pay for quality and have a slightly strange looking headphones than pay for how they look and sound quality be second. *i am also questioning about the beats audio products in laptops, phones and the beatbox (i think thats what is called)
  6. This one! http://www.computeraudiophile.com/content/Peachtree-Audio-DAC-iT-Review-AKA-DACiT Great price for the product... Along with the schiit bifrost (which i plan on purchasing)
  7. What a pity... Not all movie soundtracks can be winners. I feel many movies i have watched recently will have awful soundtracks
  8. Get's me all excited to purchase a Bifrost. Though it will be the highest end piece in my system (besides a future oppo purchase). Pc + (oppo bd-93 a bit later) > Bifrost > Topping tp21 + dayton apa150 > fostex 103en + dayton titanic mkiii 10" hopefully when i plan to order (in a month or two) that they won't be on backorder
  9. Home site http://ddaudio.com/personal-audio/dxb-02.aspx Purchase http://www.dd4life.com/Ear-Buds-DXB-02-Balanced-Armature_p_33.html Why not give these a try? Goal is to have precise bass and crisp natural highs... DD audio is pretty solid with home and personal audio even though they sell a lot more car audio supplies.
  10. Amplifiers are relativly cheap but highly rated. Topping tp21 powering fostex fe103en and dayton audio apa150 powering a titanic mkiii 10". Listening selection is broad and budget is less than $1000... I wouldnt mind paying for a good dac in that region and later upgrading the amplifiers to better ones, but for now it is what I will have. Any opinions
  11. Agreed... The drive is $99.99 and I bought two of them for $39.99 each earlier this year
