1. To my most recent knowledge, official retail price in Europe is 3600 euros.
 2. Glad you're enjoying the DAC, and to be honest, i had trouble with that DP777 review because i so enjoyed the AMR 77.1 CD. How can the same company make a terrible DAC ? But it is enough to make you doubt, which is never a good thing Can you tell us about the difference in playing redbook 44.1khz files through the two different DACs ? Do you have a preference ? Thanks
 3. Heres some reviews from a UK forum that are far from glowing http://www.hifiwigwam.com/showthread.php?59883-Amr-dp-777-dac
 4. There have been some major scathing negative reviews of the DP777, qualifying it as lifeless and dull sounding. Can you comment ? Thanks
 5. So true.

My GF doesn't even notice my new equipment. Unless it took the whole bedroom, she has become immune

Love it !!!

Cheers
 6. I think a lot of us audiophiles get influenced by gear design and novelty.

There is no logical reason for an Aurender to deliver better sound than a Macbook Air (full SSD) with a USB out.
