No upsampling at all!

RT sounds much better to me! The RT kernel is the reason why I'm using Daphile. I'm also using a Gustard X20.

Not having posted in this thread I'm nevertheless wondering what the scales of the two graphs are and what the respective floor levels are. Rgds. Norbert

U12 is UAC2-compliant and will work on Linux. I'm listening to it connected to my Cubietruck running SOA.

Could the changes to SqueezeLite (1.5 -> 1.63) have any impact on the sound? But it looks like I'm the only one noticing a difference. Anyway, everything matters. Norbert

Using SqueezeLite

I have noticed a small but at least for me annoying difference in sound quality after upgrading from firmware 1.2 to 1.3: Everything sounds softer and rounder. The change for me is close to the difference of generic PCM and on the fly conversion to DSD which other people sometimes seem to like. But I clearly don't. Is there any way to revert to firmware 1.2? Norbert
