  1. thnks, i'm in a hurry now but I' will come back. javier
  2. Thanks for the answer. I have snow leopard and fan spins up only and when i connect the firewire device. i don't have windows on mac. "idle" is almost always at 95%, with or without firewire dac connected. I use audirvana and decibel; very good this one, because leaves my dac to play files up to 192Khz. I don't know how to make a "photo" to activity monitor screen. Javier
  4. I'm new in this foro. Maybe this is not the correct side, my question has nothing to do with remote. But taken advantage that you are using a mac mini (2011 or 2010?) I wish you to ask a question: do you have problems with using firewire interface? I mean that in my macbook, when i connect my dac ear master one via firewire 400 to macbook, starts overheating and fan is increasing up to 3000 rpm. I would like to know if mac mini with i5 intel should have this minor problem or not and this is why I ask you. Sorry for my English, I'm from Spain and I live in Marbella, Málaga. My sistem is: - dac: ear master one, from acoustic reality (http://arhifi.dk/store/) - macbook and pc with xp, optimized: some times i use mac and others pc (I prefer mac, to be honest) - turntable: clearaudio emotion - Quad active speakers, model 11: much, much, much better than "any" pasive speakers and saves items and space.
