  1. Yes, WiiM will access my JRiver library without any issues. I enabled Generic DLNA, Legacy UPnP, Original Format and Audiophile 24-bit DAC profiles in JRiver. The WiiM sees all of them as well as my NUC on the network. The Eversolo app only sees the Original Format profile. SMB shares on the Eversolo app work. It can also see the Plex server and Enby server under Streaming\Emby Beta and Plex Beta however Plex and Enby don't show up under Streaming\UPnP. I don't know why Emby, Jellyfin and Plex need their own group and aren't just discoverable under the UPnP category? I would use SMB, Plex or Enby but they don't support the use of playlists or smart playlists. Anyway, thanks for your input.
  2. That's interesting. I have tried using Generic DLNA, Legacy UPnP and Original Format settings within JRiver. The various instances show up but nothing populates. Tried on both the DMP-A6 screen and the Android app. Perhaps an issue with my network? I have no issues with a WiiM Pro.
  3. It's not just you. I've tried JRiver Server, BubbleUPnP Server, Minimserver and AssetUPnP Server and nothing works. With JRiver Server, I'm able to see my local servers however the audio files on the server will not populate within the app. It would be nice to be able to use the Eversolo native app to access UPnP servers without having to use a third party app. For now, I'm using Enby Server with the Symfonium app. Symfonium has a very nice UI and supports smart playlists. The issue was reported on the Eversolo Forum back in June but has never been acknowledged or fixed.
  4. I would like to switch countries so that my favorites, or majority of them, will be maintained. I don't want a new account as that would mean starting from scratch although, I could live with that if need be by syncing my French account with Soundiiz to another service and then syncing back to the new account. Qobuz France is €149.99/year = CAD$224.48 plus bank fees and foreign currency transaction costs. Qobuz Canada is CAD$129.99/year English instead of French when using third party apps like BluOS or WiiM Home. Some music I want isn't available in the French store but is in the Canadian store. Those are the main advantages.
  5. @wdw, did you have any luck contacting a human? Were you able to get your account switched?
  6. Now that Qobuz is available in Canada, I'd like to have my French account changed to a Canadian one. Does anyone know how to go about doing so? I can't seem to find any way of contacting their customer support?
  7. Updated my Pontus II yesterday. Improvement is very nice however, I am unfortunately getting the dreaded micro skips
  8. I have an Anthem Processor and hopefully can share my experience Anthem allows you to create different profiles in the set up menu. I created 2 profiles with my Anthem processor. One for multi channel and one for two channel. You could try the following and see if it helps. I first set my subwoofers (I have 2) to 71 dB each so that combined they are at 75 dB. You would just set your one sub to 75 dB in LFE mode. I then run ARC to set the crossover frequencies and volume level of the speakers. Distance must be measured manually with a tape measure. In the setup menu under Bass Management - Profile 1 - leave settings as is for multi channel. In profile 2, I set the subwoofer LPF for LFE at 80 Hz and front Crossover to 40 Hz so that the main speakers are closer to full range. Don't set it lower or it will disable the bass management. Under level calibration - I leave the setting as is for Profile 1 for multi channel. In profile 2, I increase the sub output about 6 dB. You'll need to experiment with this to find what's right for you to blend the sub with the mains. Under Input set up, I designate which profile should be used for each input. So for my DAC input I select Profile 2 under Profile Name. Process Analog Audio Input to Yes and turn OFF ARC. I also turn off ARC for Profile 1 multi channel. This is personal preference as I find that it makes the sound duller and less engaging in my setup. Exit the setup menu now and on your remote select the input for your DAC. Now press the mode button and select AnLog-Music. This is also personal preference but I find that it produces a fuller more engaging sound. It spreads the output to the surround speakers as well however it doesn't affect the stereo image or sound stage. If you find that too much sound it coming out the surrounds then decrease their level in the setup menu under level calibration. Hopefully this will bring the life back to you music. Let me know if you have any other questions. Daren
  9. Did Wilson Audio use a $300.00 Dayton Audio plate amp in their $9000.00 subwoofer?
  10. Have you looked at Nord? The Nord One SE NC500 MKII Mono blocks output 400 watts per channel in to 8 ohms, measure close to the Benchmark according to ASR and are reasonably priced.
  11. A good portion of Tidal and Qobuz subscribers do so because of their integration with Roon.
  12. Using the same logic, anyone with amazon music who plays a FLAC file on Amazon and the same file on Qobuz in FLAC bit perfect will hear that the Qobuz is better. So, something is lost somewhere. Amazon, Apple and MQA all use the marketing definition of lossless.
  13. You can't get lossless anyway with Windows. Exclusive mode only mutes other system sounds and doesn't provide bit perfect exclusive access to the sound device. Signal is still being resampled by the Windows mixer. Only way to get Amazon Music HD bit perfect lossless is with a BluOS device.
  14. Is Tidal going to go down with the sinking ship?
