For me it has always been and will be about the music, if the music is good i will listen to it even on an AM radio and still would be able to enjoy it. I prefer HQ music, but i will never not listen to a piece of music just because some sound engineer has no idea what he is doing. As i see it my 2ch audio system is there for the music not the other way around.

You can't use the TT meter on LP the TT's algorithm to calculate DR is putting out wrong numbers for LPs, you can search the web to understand why. I don't see the point of creating a new master for the LP version most likely the CD and the LP are printed from the same master.
