DVD-A ripping

I was reading about "DVD audio Tools" here:

http://dvd-audio.sourceforge.net/

and read this:

"In addition to uncompressed audio, the DVD-Audio standard supports a proprietary lossless compression scheme called Meridian Lossless Packing and various methods of encrypting and watermarking the content. This project does not and will not deal with those parts of the standard and will therefore never be able to playback commercially produced DVD-Audio disks."

How do you rip one of your DVD-A discs with this Meridian issue?

Thanks Chris

I wish there were a Linux tool for the job, but the Windows/Mac one looks pretty good. Thanks a lot for the info.
