MediaMonkey Always Downsamples to 44.1

I have ESI Juli@ in my PC. It supports 24 bits and up to 192k sampling rate. It has a control panel that shows sampling rate when data are processed thru the card. While playing 24/96 and 24/192 files with MediaMonkey, I noticed the output is always sampled at 44.1khz and not the original 98K. Is that your experience too?

Hi M Tan - With my Lynx card MediaMonkey and the ASIO driver I can output up to 24/192 bit perfect without any problems.

How do you have MediaMonkey setup?

I have waveOut as the output and linked to my Juli@ analgue output. I listen via headphones. Is ASIO necessary to play higher than 44.1? I will download ASIO and see if it makes any difference.

Just downloaded the ASIO

Just downloaded the ASIO plug-in and everything worked fine, up to 24/192.
