  1. Sorry Frank - my bad!
    Thanks for humiliating my message.

Nice that you've found some nice interconnects.

I found great bang for the buck in DIY cables. However, i also managed to cripple my system with some cables I made from cryogenicaly treated silver-plated copper. I had it on every power cable and only realised how evil it was after I replaced every inch of it.

But when making up some interconnects, I was grateful to have read this great post by someone who tried just about every combination under the sun - doing such extensive testing on wire, dielectrics and design. He settled on 30awg solid gold in cotton.

    Enjoy your DSD bliss!
    Luke :-)

    Sorry, not me.
Only interconnects I use are the ones between Mytek and McCormack DNA 500 and they are store bought Yamamura 5000 balanced. Geeky stuff from a Japanese whiz who disappeared. Some kind of fancy copper, twisted in a ratio, wrapped in some kind of "organic" shielding and covered in pretty blue silk material. Anyways, had tried AQ, Straighwire, Magnan and some locally made by a hobbyist silver wire in teflon tubes...and the Yamamura sounded like music, so they have stayed in system through three amp changes and three DAC changes.
Glad your messing around came to good result. Frank
