    LampizatOr Level 4+ (All New!)

Well, I pulled the trigger on a new LampizatOr DAC. Why? Well. Hmm. Maybe because I love it?.

Some new bits on this Level 4+ version -- all new caps, a new digi board, new "amorphous chokes", new tube interface, new chassis .... lets just say that Lukasz is pretty excited about it.

    Me, I can't wait. ;-)

    Bah

    Everybody's a critic.

Hardly an ad if I'm not selling, now is it?

But it's news when a DAC gets a below-the-radar facelift. And a significant rebuild is pretty cool -- especially when the original was already very good.

If you're interested in the details, I can't link them -- they're not up yet.

I can tell you the PCB is about 2 weeks old. The V-Cap CuTF/Jensen Copper PIO cap options are new, too. Other than that, the chassis is new, heavier, and I think better damped.

Mine should be here in a week or so, depending on customs. I'll have more then.

Apparently your mac mini is not the only thing that's headless in your system.

    Cheers,

I have an L4 plus transport on demo. I have been listening to it for the past hour and have been pleased with what I am hearing (my existing DAC is an Antelope Zodiac +).

More thoughts once I've had a longer listen.

I look forward to the feedback CrimsonD

I have a pseudo L4 Dac, but never heard the T-Port, but have heard good things about it.

I have the Lampizator DAC and love it . Currently it is on the way back to Lukasz for a thorough evaluation as it produce some level of distortion on certain tracks that I have not noticed it before using other DACs . Not sure the cause but hopefully Lukasz can iron it out and deliver back to me as soon as possible so I can enjoy my music again
