    Shostakovich.

    Bach or Beethoven?

    Lynda Carter

At least three albums, in fact. The most recent is a few months old and full of light jazz. Very good I think. And yep - she was and always will be Wonder Woman.

    http://www.amazon.com/At-Last-Dig-Lynda-Carter/dp/B002656VLO

Try the "Come Rain or Come Shine" track. She also does a very credible "Cry me a River" and "Summertime" on this album. Not up to the same levels as say, Betty Carter, but then, who is?

    I really like this album.

    Hmmm

you and I have pretty different tastes in music.

I guess if I was forced to pick by a guy with a clipboard and a lab coat, I would pick Rel.

Nina Simone or Aretha Franklin, or as my niece calls her, Urethra Franklin...

    >Emmy Lou Harris, or Linda Ronstadt?

Both, and add Dolly Parton in to make it a Trio.

    How about a weird one?

    Yoko Ono or Emperor?

Mark Knopfler solo, but just barely.

His voice sounds way better since he quite smoking, and he has honed his craftsmanship as well. Really good question by the way.

Add to Emmylou. Linda, Dolly. . .

If you want to go the whole way; to Emmylou, Linda and Dolly, we must add Kate and Anna McGarrigle. This is a combo unlike anything before, or sadly now, after. . .

    Ellen Foley or Zola Jesus
