Hi M Sands - Welcome to
Hi M Sands - Welcome to Computer Audiophile. I'm pretty sure you're getting bit perfect rip for your CDs that are too scratched. When you have problematic CDs with deep scratches then you may want to experiment with different ripping software.
I wouldn't worry about it too much as iTunes with error correction is great.

Hi Chris, all my Cd's are new and do not have scratches. I just wanted to know if i was getting bit perfect rips on itunes into AIFF from my CD's running on a PC.
I'm planing on getting a iMac soon, how hard or easy is it to transfer my music from a PC to a Mac? do i lose any quality in the Transfer?

You won't lose any quality
You won't lose any quality moving them from a PC to Mac. Since you're using AIFF I believe your tags and album art will be OK for the most part. You'll have a few issues though.
