DAC1 Pre - anyone receive theirs yet and have initial thoughts?

Tue, 02/19/2008 - 12:14 — guyapprenticeI received the DAC1 Pre last week and have it connected to the mac mini via USB...I am told it'll take a little bit of time to "burn in" so I'm giving it another week or so before I give it a full review, but overall I am pleased with the service from Benchmark.

My DAC1 PRE should be arriving Thursday or Friday this week. I was a little slow to get my DAC1 USB in for the limited exchange program. Benchmark service is always stellar. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them and I recommend them all the time.

The DAC1 PRE has arrived.
The DAC1 PRE has arrived. Too bad the temp is 5 degrees below zero and the unit will take sometime to warm up. This is just too funny. When the Audioengine speakers arrived it was even colder and I couldn't listen to them for a while either!
